Choice of the functional monomer of molecularly imprinted polymers: Does it rely on strong acid-base or hydrogen bonding interactions?
نویسندگان
چکیده
The choice of the functional monomer is a key point in design molecularly imprinted polymers (MIPs) because its directional interactions with template molecules are required to form molecular imprints acting as selective recognition sites for adsorption. Methacrylic acid (MAA) has very often been employed imprinting basic molecules. Strong acid-base lead H+ transfer and weak hydrogen bonding between products reaction. weakly acidic acrylamide (AA) shown stronger hydrogen-bonding histamine (HA) than MAA. Interactions HA monomers have investigated by means 1H NMR spectroscopy yielding stoichiometry complexation constants their complex species. Adsorption isotherms both MAA- AA-based MIPs modeling showed higher binding MIP.

in fact, this study focused on the following questions: 1. is there any difference between the effect of functional/notional approach and the structural approaches to language teaching on the proficiency test of efl learners? 2. can a rather innovative language test referred to as "functional test" ge devised so so to measure the proficiency test of efl learners, and thus be as much reliable an...

Molecularly imprinted technology (MIT) has the characteristics of specificity and high selectivity, which is one of the most promising methodologies. Besides, the polymers are made using MIT as the functional material of solid-phase extraction and chromatographic fractionating and sensor, because of the characteristics of the high selectivity, the better stability and easy preparation. This rev...

Artificial receptors have been in use for several decades as sensor elements, in affinity separation, and as models for investigation of molecular recognition . Although there have been numerous publications on the use of molecular modeling in characterization of their affinity and selectivity, very few attempts have been made on the application of molecular modeling in computational design of ...
متن کاملSynthesis of Molecularly Imprinted Polymers for Amino Acid Derivates by Using Different Functional Monomers
Fmoc-3-nitrotyrosine (Fmoc-3-NT) molecularly imprinted polymers (MIPs) were synthesized to understand the influence of several functional monomers on the efficiency of the molecular imprinting process. Acidic, neutral and basic functional monomers, such as acrylic acid (AA), methacrylic acid (MAA), methacrylamide (MAM), 2-vinylpyridine (2-VP), 4-vinylpyridine (4-VP), have been used to synthesiz...
